Frankly is Closing

We have made the difficult decision to close Frankly. The usual Shipping & Returns Policies will not apply during the Closing Sale. Please see here to learn more.

Returns and exchanges

Start your return here.

US Orders

Frankly offers free U.S. returns and exchanges for all in stock items. All returns must be initiated and shipped out within 30-days of the delivery date. They must be unused and unwashed with all original tags and sanitary liners (if applicable) attached. Please start your return or exchange here.

Canada & International Orders

Frankly covers return shipping for orders from Canada, but a $10 restocking fee will be charged to help offset a portion of this and warehouse processing fees. All returns must be shipped out within 30 days or receipt. Similar to US returns you can start your return or exchange here.

Pre-Orders

If you pre-ordered an item using PurpleDot and would like to cancel the order or switch a size before it's shipped, please email hello@franklyapparel.com.

Please note that Studio items have a returns only policy (no exchanges), as we made that specific item for you.

US Orders

Please note that we will try our best to facilitate exchanges, but there is a chance your size / color combination will sell out. Exchanges are shipped out once the original item is received and inspected.

Canada & International Orders

We are unfortunately unable to facilitate exchanges for international orders. Please start your return here and re-order.

We’re processing everything as fast as we can over at the warehouse! Your refund will be in the original form of payment, and please allow for 1-2 weeks for it to appear on your credit card statement.

Shipping & Delivery

Frankly currently ships to the United States and Canada. We’re looking into shipping to more countries in 2022, so let us know where you want us to go next!

Your order is shipped out from our warehouse within 3 business days. You’ll get an email notification with tracking information once it is shipped.

We send an email titled "Ship just got real" when your order ships out! Please use the tracking number in that email to find your order. Please note that UPS Mail Innovations hands off to USPS, so you may need to track on the USPS site.

Frankly ships with UPS Mail Innovations and Ground for US Orders. For international orders, Frankly has partnered with Passport, a third party shipping logistics company.

Products & Sizing

We have two different versions of our size chart here (also linked on each product page). We also have a “find your fit” tool on the product page. If you need additional help with sizing, send us a note at hello@franklyapparel.com

We love this question! As of right now, we only offer straight sizes (e.g., M-M) and one size up in the bust (e.g., L-M). We hope to expand sizing as the brand grows.

Check the product details on tab on the product page for care instructions. As a general rule, wash in cold water and hang or lay flat to dry. This is actually better for the environment and reduces energy use. This also prolongs the life of your piece! However, there are pieces you can throw in the dryer (we all do it - guilty); just check the label first!

Studio

At Frankly, our customers are also our co-creators. We created the studio to show you our designs, see exactly what you like, create it, and save the environment in the process. 

HOW IT WORKS:

-The Studio opens with fresh designs that are in development.

-You have 30 days to pre-order your size at a special discount.

-If a design hits its goal, we make it, and ship it to you in 6-8 weeks.

-If a design doesn’t get enough pre-orders, we refund you. 

-Repeat again every month.

*If we get too many orders, we reserve the right to end studio order periods early. We don’t want to surprise our manufacturer.


We don’t make it until you buy it! This cuts down on waste and helps us make better decisions on what colors and styles to make. You’ll receive your items likely between 6-8 weeks after your order. More exact estimated dates will be on each product page.

Because we’re making everything based on the pre-orders, we will only be making those quantities plus a little more for in stock. Because of this, you’ll be allowed to return the item for a full refund of the studio price, but you will not be allowed to exchange for another size or color. If you would rather have a different size or color, we will ask you to return it and purchase it at full price.

We're not allowing any discount codes on studio items. All studio items come with a built-in discount as a thank you for supporting that item early :)

Sustainability

Your Frankly pieces are all designed by a team of designers in LA and NYC (all women!) and made in a woman-owned factory in the United States. We’re committed to ethical treatment of workers, solid environmental practices, and ensuring you as the end consumer get a quality product.

We think about sustainability in a few different ways. Our Studio allows us to better understand what you as customers are looking for, so we don’t make too much of a color or size.

We select recycled materials when possible, finding more sustainable fabric dyers and producers when possible. We are moving towards more OEKO-Tex and Lenzing certified fabrics where we can (noted in the product descriptions). We love using TENCEL™ and Modal where we can.

Ethics plays a strong role in sustainability as well - we will only work with factories paying fair wages with good working conditions.

Lastly, our packaging is largely made of recycled materials and is always 100% recyclable. Our box provider prints in the US & Canada, using locally sourced materials to minimize carbon footprint. We purchase carbon offsets for shipping as well.

Frankly is constantly working to become more eco-friendly, and we're always looking for ways to be a better company.

Referrals & Rewards

Refer a friend - This program allows you to invite a friend to join the Frankly Fam, and both of you get a $10 reward. Please note that the code for each referral is single-use and cannot be combined with other discounts.

We reserve the right to pause, end, or disable the program at any time. Everything earned before we pause, end, or disable the program will be valid, but if the program is on hold, all rewards will be paused. Please find full terms & conditions in our Terms of Service.

We don’t allow discount code stacking on a single order :( This means that you can only use one discount code per order. You can use a gift card and a discount code at the same time, though!

If your discount code requires you to be a first time customer, then it won't work on a second purchase. Discount codes are not applicable on Studio items.

We're not allowing any discount codes on studio items! We're already giving a discount for you supporting that item :)

Afterpay

Afterpay is a service that allows us to offer you the ability to make purchases now and pay for them in four equal payments made every two weeks without any interest.

Purple Dot Pre-Orders

Purple Dot is a waitlisting platform that allows you to be the first to get your hands on Frankly’s next great item. Purple Dot will keep you in the loop the whole time.

For any pre-orders facilitated by Purple Dot, payment information is processed securely by Stripe. No card details are transferred to or held by Purple Dot. All transactions take place via connections secured with the latest industry-standard security protocols.

You can cancel at any time, follow the cancellation link in your pre-order confirmation email. You will receive an email confirming the refund and should see the money back in your account in 3-5 business days.

Yes! Send an email to hello@franklyapparel.com with your updated details and a member of the customer service team will get this updated for you. You will then receive an updated pre-order confirmation email.

You can email hello@franklyapparel.com to change a size or color if available, or to cancel.
